Who I Am

Picture
Growing up in Michigan as the oldest of four children, I was blessed to have two parents who taught me to love God and to listen to His voice above all others. They rarely taught me what to believe, rather, they always encouraged me to discover what the Bible had to say and to sharpen my understanding through critical analysis and discussion. This taught me to be an independent thinker and to examine everything.

The day I met the man I would marry, I commented to my mother that he had many of the qualities I wanted in a husband, even though I never imagined HE would be my husband! On April 1, 2000, I married this wonderful man, Rod Lehrke. We added Rebecca, Rory, Elizabeth, and Daniel to our family, plus our Golden Retriever, Sadie. We currently live in Winchester, Virginia.

Mission Statement

My life's mission is to grow relationships that point others to Christ. To lead, encourage, and train women to rise to new levels of leadership. To equip the next generation to communicate God's love to their world. To leave a legacy of grace, charity, leadership, and love.   ~ I.N.J.

My Vision

I envision a world in which women are elevated as leaders at home, in churches, in business, and in community until the masculine and feminine perspectives are equally represented in the world as men and women live out the image of God in which they were both created. In this view, neither perspective dominates or diminishes the other but both are respected and valued.
